Soltuna Disc Golf Park – Åland’s Highest Disc Golf Course
Soltuna DiscGolfPark is Åland’s highest-altitude disc golf course and one of the island’s most iconic 18-hole layouts. The course begins and ends at the Soltuna restaurant, making it a perfect stop for both short and full rounds.
The front 9 holes are slightly easier and more forested—ideal if you're looking for a shorter, more accessible game. The back 9, however, climbs into the rocky hills of Getabergen and offers longer, more challenging holes.
Hole 10 is especially famous—its elevated tee provides one of the most photographed disc golf views on Åland, with breathtaking vistas across the archipelago. Soltuna, along with Lappo, was among the first 18-hole courses on the islands and has become a favorite among players.
Rated 4.3 on UDisc, Soltuna DGP was voted Åland’s Best Course of 2023 and placed second in 2024—testament to its mix of technical design, natural beauty, and well-kept facilities.
For those wanting to stay longer, Soltuna offers cozy four-person cabins right on site. It’s a perfect place to unwind after your round.
Getabergen is also one of Europe’s most popular climbing spots, and it's not uncommon to spot Åland’s national bird—the majestic white-tailed sea eagle—soaring overhead.
You can even rent crash pads for bouldering if you bring the rest of your gear. And when the day winds down, there’s no better way to relax than with a cold drink on the terrace, watching the sun set over the northern sea after a successful day of disc golf.
